Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Eligibility and Age Limit: 

Candidates must hold a minimum educational qualification of passing the 10th grade or its equivalent examination. They must produce original documents including Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Sports Achievements, Caste Certificate, relevant exemption certificates for fees, along with self-attested photocopies and recent passport size photographs. (iii) Trials and Assessment: The recruitment process will primarily rely on trials and assessment of sports achievements and educational qualifications. FIT candidates from trials will proceed to the next stage.

a. Trials Criteria: - Game Skill, Physical Fitness & Coach’s Observations: 40 Marks - FIT Candidate: 25 Marks or More - NOT FIT Candidate: Below 25 Marks

(iv) Recruitment Committee Assessment: After trials, FIT candidates will be assessed by the Recruitment Committee. Marks will be awarded based on sports achievements and educational qualifications.

Assessment Criteria:

Recognized Sports Achievements: 50 Marks

Educational Qualification and General Intelligence/Personality: 10 Marks

(v) Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks awarded by the Trial Committee and Recruitment Committee. The minimum qualifying marks are 60 for Level 1 positions.

Note: The offer of appointment will be based purely on merit. In case of a tie, preference will be given to younger candidates.

(vi) Playing Kit: Candidates must bring their own playing kit for trials where applicable.
